Late 2024, Dr.Kuhn retired from practicing medicine. He was one of the founding partners of NMMP in 2004 and practiced medicine for nearly three decades. Over this time, he built relationships with countless patients and families. His ever pleasant and caring, with a touch of humor, character is something that many of his patients truly valued. We know that he also greatly enjoyed being a part of so many lives.
While we are all genuinely happy for him and this new chapter, his presence will be greatly missed.

Dr Licht joined Northern Michigan Medicine & Pediatrics in September 2023 after being employed at Munson Medical Center as a Hospitalist Physician, Internal Medicine and pediatrics. She completed her residency at Wayne State and Detroit Medical Center. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Meeker was one of the founding physicians of Northern Michigan Medicine and Pediatrics and has practiced medicine for over 30 years. Dr. Meeker is very active when not seeing patients and enjoys skiing (leisurely and competitively) and spending time with family, including his grandchildren. On a warm summer day you may find Dr. Meeker enjoying the views of Lake Leelanau and a strong cup of coffee.

Dr. Meg, as she’s referred to by staff, specializes in adolescent health and medicine. Dr. Meg has published several best-selling books including Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters, and The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers. Her podcast, Parenting Great Kids is very popular nationally and internationally. She writes regularly on parenting issues on her blog. Dr. Rutkoski joined Northern Michigan Medicine and Pediatrics in October of 2017 from a busy outpatient practice in Holland, Michigan. He completed his residency at University Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. Another Spartans Fan! “Dr. Tim” also completed his undergrad education at Michigan State University.

Dr. Schubert was born in West Branch and is also a graduate of Michigan State University…Go Spartans! Dr. Schubert works hard to keep his patients healthy and takes pride in helping patients stay healthy by being supportive and positive. When not busy at the office or seeing patients in Munson Medical Center, Dr. Schubert enjoys spending time with his family and out on the golf course.

Dr. Selle joined Northern Michigan Medicine and Pediatrics in 2015 after completing his residency at Detroit Medical Center, and graduating with distinction from Wayne State. Dr. Selle enjoys practicing medicine to a diverse population, from birth through adulthood, and when not doing so, he enjoys running and cycling the trails in Leelanau County with his wife and children.

Dr. Small is a National and Michigan Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Her specialties include breastfeeding and adolescent medicine and she’s also a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Small enjoys being with her two sons, running, playing tennis, sailing, and skiing.
When asked why Dr. Small loves what she does, she stated that she loves children and watching them grow and feels privileged to guide new parents as they welcome newborns into their lives. Dr. Small enjoys the energy and imagination of her pediatric patients and providing support to patients and families through adolescence.
